yeaaaaaaa
this is a fantastic remix, the vocal chopping and fx in the drop is really impressive, and that bass is clean as fuck. the new chords work great too, and really separate it mood-wise to the original, its great. good job!!
thank you so much!!!!! <3
i love the atmosphere youve made here, the sense of desolation really comes through and i liked all the ambient elements you used throughout!! this might be my own preference, but id try making the drums a bit less crisp, as the sharp nature of them kinda clashes with the rest of the ambient elements. :>
valid opinion!!
i like em crunchy and harsh though
although on louder volumes they can hurt a little
the way i made those drums was funky though so I'm glad it sounds okay to begin with
i love how trippy this is, could totally imagine a mushroom trip to something like this lol. i feel like some of the fx used have weird tones that clash with the chords and pads, and the main pad probably needs more delay/reverb as it kinda cuts in and out in some sections which breaks the illusion a bit, pingpong delay would work really well i think
thanks a TON for the feedback appreciate!!!
love the instrumentation here, a lot of synths remind me of Infected Mushroom and those types of pychadelic sounds, and they flow great. Personally I would have done more fx on the vocals to fit the over-the-top nature of the beat but still this is fantastic.
thank you! very glad to hear that you like the craziness of the beat :)
i hate that i cant reccomend this to my friends
i think suicide silence said it best: "you fucking coward"
;*
otherwise i've got it on soundcloud too :)
x3ll3n stop being good its making me depressed ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
(seriously though this is really really well made and atmospheric and the fact that you made it in such a short timespan is just unbelievably impressive)
My heart goes out to Bassclefff who spent 20 hours on his entry and didn't make it.
Also, it's good but not really special, I'm surprised it even got frontpaged (and I wish it would have been "Bring Out the Flame" instead)
only real ones remember the clipping version :p
I unironically think the clipping version might be the better one
Holy fuck dude!! Your sound design is unparalleled. I adore the UK garage sections in particular, you really nailed that vibe, and i think it mixes in with the house ish drop really well
Thank you so much
I really like the vibe this song brings, it would work really well for like an open world type game i think. I specifically liked the guitar a lot, its a very nice touch to this, and the piano motifs in the middle were especially creative. Nice work!
Thanks, Ackee! It's an updated classic from my early repertoire, but changing that section to guitar feels really successful to me. It's my favorite touch, for sure. With such nice piano motifs, it would have been a shame to not revisit it again with more experience and a better DAW.
